Yes, I may be late in the game, but I just discovered the site PhotoPhilanthropy, which is a FANTASTIC resource for photographers who want to work with non-profits.
The site includes resources for finding photography grants, an issue-based search for different organizations, places people can publish work, and it offers its own award (called the Activist Awards) for photo essays produced for non-profits both here in the U.S. and abroad.
